Mounting sytems

Mounting systemsMounting systems for photovoltaic systems are the fixtures in which the solar modules are mounted (e.g. roof or other surface).  for photovoltaicAbbrevatied.: PV. Technology that turns solar energy into electricity via solar cells. systems are the fixtures in which the solar modules are mounted (e.g. roof or other surface). In addition to customised solutions, there is also an array of construction kits that facilitate installation thanks to pre-installed pieces making it quick and cost effective to mount the solar modules.

We have a solution for every surface and every photovoltaic system:

  • Slanted roof systems
  • Flat roof systems
  • Roof-integrated systems
  • Building-integrated systems
  • Freestanding systems
  • Intelligent solar tracking systems

Slanted roof systems can be installed quickly and anywhere. The solar modules are installed on brackets that run parallel to the roof’s surface.

Flat roof systems are fixed onto frames that allow solar modules to be tilted at an optimal angle for irradiation. They also provide good ventilation.

Roof-integrated systems are a particularly elegant solution and ideal for new or refurbished roofs. The solar modules are harmoniously integrated and can replace conventional roofing tiles completely.

Building-integrated mounting systems have special fixtures that allow the solar modules to be integrated into the building as an unconventional facade or awning element. The solar modules become the architectural stars of the show.

Freestanding systems make it possible to mount solar modules on every free surface. The installation is very quick, simple and inexpensive, and high yields can be attained with very little investment.

Intelligent solar tracking systems align with the movement of the sun so that the solar module is always optimally positioned resulting in maximum irradiation. Tracking systems are available with one or two axis, and with chronological tracking (programmed following the calendar) or light-sensory tracking (programmed following actual light rays). Flexible yet stable, our tracking systems withstand even storms and snow.

Quality differences

When choosing a mounting system, you should take more than just the available surface into consideration. High quality materials like stainless steel or aluminium guarantee weather resistance and longevity.

Furthermore, good systems are more stable and have more sophisticated engineering. Particularly flexible are expandable systems, especially modular types.
