Description

One of the largest on-roof solar installations in the world is in Stuttgart (Germany). On the roof of Baden Württemberg’s regional trade fair complex, the 15 million Euro megawatt installation provides 3.45 million kilowatt hours of energy per year. It was commissioned by Planet Energy, a 100% subsidiary of Greenpeace Energy.

The rounded roof proved a challenge for the construction team, but the solar modules were successfully integrated into the roof and contribute to the high architecture of the trade fair complex.
