| What you’ll need:1. Solar modules The solar modules on your roof silently convert sunlight into emissions-free direct current.
2. Inverter The direct current produced by the solar modules is then converted into alternating current for appliances with alternating current.
3. Battery The direct current is stored in the battery until you need it.
4. Central control panel The central control panel monitors and stabilizes the entire residential system’s electricity grid. An integrated charge controller monitors the charge status of your battery, and prevents it from overcharging and or depleting completely.
5. Supply meter The supply meter measures the energy use of each individual building so that costs can be fairly distributed.
